My three years of graphic design work through the filter of super academia-land of CalArts are compiled in this 86 pages of monograph, Masato Nakada, A Catalog of Projects From 2008-2011. This book draws consistent threads and themes that re-occur in my practice. It also features some old b-side projects that never made it to the crit room. A real personal, in-depth analysis of Masato Nakada. This maybe the most intimate book I ever made and it might be hard for people to enter but it was satisfying to complete.
Here is our heart warming wedding gift to our friend Espen in Norway, our party spirit is right there with you in Oslo, 16th of July 2011!
I skipped my May entry and it goes straight to June already!
CalArts, you were one tough mountain to climb in so many ways, but so worth it.

I am done with my CalArts MFA Thesis! Done, done, done, I am pleased with the outcome, as I mythologized my personal history to create a facade of a graphic designer.
Scott Massey made some handsome flyers for the donation event. You can read more about it here.
Too busy to write captions for them, but let's catch up.
These are series of double exposed photos from a 3-lense camera. The two differnt locations; a cold winter in Zurich / a warm winter in California, are overlapped.
Day after day, I drank delicious wine with my lovely family. I watched gloomy people on a train, in timely fashion they are waiting for their next train stop.
